About this tool

Premium tool — preview with sample data

The Car Setup calculator computes the recommended GPRO setup values for front wing, rear wing, engine, brakes, gearbox and suspension for a given track, weather and temperature. It is built on the community-tested GPRO setup formulas and takes your car part levels, driver skills and technical director into account.

How it works

  1. Select the session (Q1, Q2 or race), the weather and the track temperature.
  2. Check the car parts, driver and technical director values that GPRO Hub loaded from your synced data.
  3. Calculate and copy the six setup values into the car setup screen on gpro.net.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is the calculated setup?
The calculator gives a strong baseline for the setup. Fine-tune it during qualifying using the driver feedback on gpro.net if the track or the weather changes.
Why does the setup change with the weather?
Rain, humidity and temperature change the optimal wing levels, engine and suspension in GPRO, so the calculator recalculates every value when the forecast changes.
