About this tool

Free tool

The Car Wear calculator estimates how much each of the eleven GPRO car parts (chassis, engine, front wing, rear wing, underbody, sidepods, cooling, gearbox, brakes, suspension, electronics) will wear during the next race at different risk levels. It uses your car part levels, driver skills, the track and the weather so you can decide which parts to replace before the race. It is free for every registered user.

How it works

  1. Sync your car data from GPRO or enter the part levels and current wear.
  2. The calculator loads the next track and estimates the wear for several risk settings.
  3. Compare the wear after the race for each part and replace the parts that would become unsafe.

Frequently asked questions

Which GPRO car part wears the most?
It depends on the track and the risk you drive with; long or demanding tracks wear the engine, gearbox and suspension faster. The calculator shows the expected wear per part so you can see it for your own car.
Is the Car Wear calculator free?
Yes. Car Wear and Testing Setup are free for all GPRO Hub accounts; no tokens are needed.
